After explosive growth, IP-based network’s ossification has been revealed, existing patches could fix some problem,but this is not a permanent solution to solve ossification. In order to completely solve the problem of IP network, many countries and institutions actively research Next Generation Network. Many institutions put forward visionary idea about future network. Virtualization technology not only can solve the issue of the current network’s ossification and virtual network is also inseparable from the existing network transition to future network. By allowing multiple virtual networks running on top of a shared physical network, the virtualization technology can effectively make use of the physical resources and facilitate unified management of physical resources through virtualization of resources. Virtual network is seen as architecture and integrated into future network architecture by4WARD, achieve the whole network virtualization. This article studies the future network architecture of the virtual network and research on dynamic virtual network mapping. Specific works done in this paper are as follows:1. Research various institutions of the future network and in-depth research the future virtual network architecture of4WARD.4WARD vainly see the virtual network as an important technology of the future network, put forward a framework. This paper does a summary of the overall knowledge of the future virtual network framework by reference to today’s virtual network technology and4WARD. By further divided responsibility for the virtual network, dividing mapping process into3stages and running an intelligent agent on each node, can effectively achieve the self-management of network and facilitate to business innovation. 2. Study distributed static network mapping algorithm:Distributed static network algorithm is used for virtual network configuration. Running intelligent agent on each node to perceive the network topology, dividing virtual network requests into multiple into many hub-and-spoke clusters and applying mapping algorithm can effectively reduce the complexity of the algorithm. Finally completed the mapping of fragmented link. Compare to traditional centralized algorithm, distributed mapping algorithm have advantage in number of packets switch and delay, at a cost of running intelligent agent on each node.3. Proposed a distributed mapping algorithm platform. The node of the framework running autonomous intelligent agent, the agent is responsible for interactions of the virtual network mapping protocol, the node only need to deal with the agent. The framework simplifies the design of distributed mapping algorithm. The main work of design dynamic algorithm specific to the design rules, but also to facilitate infrastructure provider based on different target specified rules, has a great deal of flexibility. Proposed a dynamic mapping algorithm based on this framework, this algorithm uses static distributed algorithm to create a virtual network, and add dynamic processing node failure and link failure.
