Nowadays, as CDN-P2P becomes a hot topic, more and more institutions involve in studying it to achieve a cost-effective purpose. In order to realize this goal, I also focus on this area for the purpose of studying and designing. In this paper, a new hybrid architecture based on both mesh and tree construction has been proposed with a new scheduling policy based on weight which is used to generate the topology. It’s more robust as well as high-performance. In addition, to optimize the system, the paper tends to process optimizations from two sides:CDN side and P2P side, including interconnection, protocol extending and merging, scheduling policy, resource sharing, segmentation policy and so forth, to improve the performance of network and thus improve use experience. In the end, the paper analyzed the deployment policy according to this model and judged by the simulation statistics, and then we can draw a conclusion that these series of designs can effectively reduce the dependency to CDN and then reduce the costs.
