Research On Testing Qos Function Of Network Equipment

With the expansion of the scale of future network construction, network equipment gradually improve and performance continues to increase, but the complexity of network equipment is also increasing, and these become increasingly difficult makes testing for network quality of service. If not been strict and complete use of the test equipment, and then for the communication network is the potential hazards, and should try to avoid. Thus, the test is very necessary to study the Qos of network equipment. The Qos test method should include analysis of the technical principles, technical implementations, scenarios, testing standards, testing platform structures, basic functional testing, system testing, performance testing, and the current network testing and so on. And HQoS (Hierarchical Quality of Service) is the characteristics of the Qos development of a cutting-edge technology, the current specific testing is not, in view of the complexity of the HQoS, research on specific test methods and testing standards of HQoS is necessary.The article is based on the work of the internship company "Qos Characteristics Test Methods of gateway".QOS characteristics common test methods for network equipment research and description Qos characteristics applicable to a variety of communications products test. The Process as well as the limitations of the realization of this article are based on the router products, can refer to other types of network equipment. The paper first analyzes the Qos characteristics of each part and the theoretical principles, followed by a description of the construct multi-stream test, analysis the highlights of HQoS——hierarchical principle. And then discusses the the Qos characteristics of the overall test method, pay attention to the analysis of events and data results. The focus of this paper is to propose a test method for HQoS.(hierarchical Qos) based on the Ethernet interface HQoS test ideas, test the critical point, the test platform and test processes, and finally the actual testing and results analysis.
