As technology continues to evolve and new business needs constantly upgrading,ITU-T has put forward IMT-Advanced after the IMT-2000.CoMP is one of the technologies.Future cellular networks need to provide high-speed data services for more users and also need to have a higher spectrum efficiency in the entire cell district.So to ensure immunity of the wireless interfaces become increasingly important, the presence of inter-cell interference will lead to poor user located at the cell edge performance.CoMP technology controls inter-cell interference by the inter-cell interference cooperation.The focus of this paper is the research of CoMP technology in LTE-Advanced system and network planning tools design and development.After deep study of CoMP technology,1make coding of uplink CoMP in Huawei UNet simulation tool and complete coverage prediction and capacity simulation system simulation.The simulation results in line with expectations, and significantly enhances the signal-to-noise ratio and the whole network throughput of edge users.This article’s innovation is that it bring the uplink CoMP technology to the network planning tool, and also originality come up with the research of shadow fading relevance and four-dimensional interpolation find law.This paper firstly introduces the development, basic principles and key technologies of LTE-Advanced, and then introduces the wireless network planning processes and steps.Then do the research of CoMP technology algorithm.Finally, realization of the the uplink CoMP technology in the wireless network planning tool, including link prediction system design, coverage prediction system design and capacity simulation system design.After designing the author verified the influence in coverage prediction and capacity simulation before and after adding CoMP by two different ways of designing three circles of base station on whiteboard and import map of Beijing. At the end of this article, the author proposes the study of CoMP prospect in the future.
