With the development of computer, network and multimedia technology,video has gone deep into people’s daily life as a infomation transmission carrier.However,more and more people are not satisfy with the traditional two-dimension video for it’s limitation in the natural scense characterization.stereo video emerge as the times require and has attracted a wide attention because the rapid development of imaging and display technology.Compared with the traditional two-dimensional video,stereo video is excellent in the characterization of natural scense for the added depth information.Through the vivide display effect provided by the stereo video,users feel like in the real scence.Considered the stereo video transmits in error-prone channel,we carry out research on stereo video transmission error control and error concealment In this paper.First, based on the different importance of left and right view point, we proposed unequal error protection mechanisms. In this mechanism, view point encoding rate could be allocated adaptively, the channel utilization is improved while reducing the channel error rate.Subsequently, comparation is made with the equal error protection scheme. Final results of analysis show that the PSNR of restructed video is better in equal error protection scheme.Through analysis of existing error concealment schemes we find strong correlation is existed bewteen the viewpoins,including time-domain and frequency-domain correlation.A video encoding scheme based on view points correlation is introduced and propose the motion skip encoding scheme used in our paper.After then, we put forward a entire frame lost concealment scheme based on the time-domain correlation. Finally, we compared this scheme with TD and TRBEC concealment scheme, experiments result show that the scheme proposed in this paper has a better error conceal effect.
