High-end Hotel Reservations And Ordering Service Platform Based On Vaadin And Osgi

As a branch of the modern service industry business models, e-commerce is now increasingly being accepted by the public.It show the service turned into a commodity to consumers, it give economic benefits to the service providers when consumers access to the services. High-end hotel reservations and ordering service platform (hereinafter referred to as the service platform) that is a modern service-oriented e-business application, it focused on solving the problem of high-end hotel reservations and ordering services to expand online, to enhance the quality and breadth of its services, to increase the audience crowd and enhance customer satisfaction; it also try to make the hotel services focused on the same platform, which is convenient for consumers to browse and select flexibly.This system uses OSGI+VAADIN+JETTY+MYSQL as the technical architecture. OSGI and JETTY is a good software architecture stack has been proved by the industry as the architecture bottom to support the normal operation of the system. Based on the the OSGI dynamic modular support, making the system has highly dynamic and hot-swappable advantages compared to traditional network applications. VAADIN is a GWT-based emerging technology framework, which has highly integrated Ajax UI components and desktop application’s development style, it can improve development efficiency and build a UI interface with a high degree of interactivity. The project also provide solution to make VAADIN integration into the OSGI environment and verify its feasibility.In function, the system design a set of standards for multiple hotel focused on unified platform, provide hotel recommendation, news dynamic display, and other functions. For consumer users, the system offers register and login, personal collection, personal information management, hotel reservations and ordering, order management and reviews and so on. Hotel users can log on to the system to manage their own hotel information, custom booking rules and manage orders. In addition, the system provides to the operator of the system a set of background management system which can easily manage and maintain the system.Dynamic modularity is the main feature of this system, based on the OSGI specification, the system is divided into a plurality of independent service components, EQUINOX manage the life cycle of each service component, in order to realize the hot-plug system functions.
