For The Analysis Of The College Students’ Mental Problems And Application Research On Data Mining Technology

With the continuous development of society and technology, people’s psychological situation, especially college students, has differed. As a special group, college students, who are from various districts, holds different cultures and grows up in different environ-ment, but have to face a same living and working environment after entering college. This may easily cause dramatic changes of their psychological environment, and form negative emotions, such as anxiety and depression, which will eventually has effect on their study and living quality. College students are the future of the nation, therefore, the research of discovering the causes of negative emotions’structure and mining the active mode of the brain has meaningful significance. In this paper, three methods are compared for studying college students’negative emotions.(1) A psychological evaluation system, which is a web based application of B/S struc-ture, established using Struts technology, is established for collecting information. Unlike the previous method of gathering information through questionnaire, information could be obtained easily from this system. Using this system, students can freely log into the site and take psychological evaluation, and answers are stored into background database, so that psychological data could be efficiently and accurately collected,(2) Using the collected evaluation data, data mining technology is used for analyzing the useful digged-out information effectively. The structure model is established based on data mining algorithms, for digging out potential groups. Through the analysis of the collected data, we found that if a student is a boy who is not noly child will be more easily to have a negative emotion than a girl; if a student has a low fatigued index, he or she may have a little probability to have a negative emotion.(3) Frontier method, resting state analysis method, which refers to the brain activity patterns in the most calm status, is used in this paper. In the resting state, a comparison of brain activities between students that have negative psychological problems and those are normal are made to observe which part of brain areas has significantly higher or lower activities than normal level. Through the resting state analysis, we found that the brain areas of LBA37, Hippocampus, and LBA10etc. have been activated. These areas’function is to control the sense of hearing, Memory, emotion and ability of thinking.
