As the third wave in the information industry, The Internet of Things applications in agriculture will be addressed in a series of scientific and technical issues, such as obtaining information from wide area spatial distribution, realizing efficient and reliable transmission of information and making intelligent decisions for different application requirements and environments, and it will be the booster and accelerator to achieve the transition from traditional to modern agriculture. In the process of agricultural production, a variety of natural factors such as temperature, humidity, illumination intensity, the CO2concentration, moisture, and other elements jointly affect the growth of crops. Traditional agricultural management is far from reaching the standards of meticulous management, which can only be regarded as extensive management. In this way, managing the environmental parameters by human perception is unable to meet the accuracy requirements. To achieve the intelligent management, the establishment of a practical, reliable, long-term monitoring agricultural environmental monitoring system is very necessary. For this reason, an intelligent agriculture monitoring system is designed in this paper based on The Internet of Things. The system can get the crop growth environmental information accurately and in real-time, it can also monitor these information remotely. In this paper, first, The Internet of Things and the connotation of The Agriculture of Things, the key technology of The Agriculture of Things and future development of The Agriculture of Things are introduced in detail, then the conception of data fusion is introduced and the KDF algorithm for the system processing perception data is presented. The KDF algorithm is a kind of data fusion algorithm based on the Kalman filter, which not only can reduce redundant data and energy consumption but also can eliminate the interference to get perception data more accurately. Next, this paper introduces the overall design of the system and builds sensor hardware node according to the design requirements, which regards MSP430F5438microprocessor, RF module CC2520, front end CC2591RF amplifier and various types of sensors such as SHT10temperature and humidity sensor as the core. Based on Z-Stack protocol stack, Sensor node software successfully realizes the formation of Wireless Mesh Networks and the reliable transmission of perception data. Finally, the paper introduces the host computer monitoring software. Host computer monitoring software is based on B/S structure, which uses the JSP language in MyEclipse development environment and has a good person-computer alternation interface. Backstage uses MySQL database to storage the environmental parameter data and other useful information. The entire system is published online through the Tomcat server, then it will be able to access to the Internet and form the structure of "underlying(sensors)-Internet network-remote monitoring", which makes any computer connected to the Internet be able to visit it.The experimental tests results which are carried out from the perspective of system functions realization show that the system can work normally and steadily, the wireless sensor nodes can normally build wireless mesh networks, the data can be reliably transported. By Tomcat server, the users can log in the system on any PC machine connected to the Internet for data query and system management, and the function of remote monitoring is realized. The system uses energy-saving mechanisms to achieve a good energy saving effect, and the accuracy of the data meets the requirements.
