Photoelectric tracking system is a device which can capture, lock andautomatically track flying targets. With the wide application of photoelectricreconnaissance, surveillance and tracking system in military, the demand of theperformance of photoelectric tracking device increases. As vehicle photoelectrictracking device has high mobility and flexibility, it becomes a preferred direction ofdevelopment in the world. In order to track target automatically, vehicle photoelectric tracking systemmust overcome the interference of the visual axis caused by the vibration while thevehicle is traveling. To solve this problem, this dissertation studies the way tomeasure vibration interference and stabilize visual axis with gyro feedforwardtechnique, and design the servo control system, verify it in a vehicle photoelectrictracking experiment.Firstly, this dissertation studies the theory and method to stabilize visual axis inthe vehicle photoelectric tracking servo control system, then bring forward a wisescheme of installing three directions of gyros, and achieve stability of the visual axisof the two-axis photoelectric tracking device based on moving platform.matlab/simlink simulation model is established. The simulation result verifies thatthe algorithm can effectively isolate the vehicle interference.Secondly, hardware with high-performance floating-point DSP TMS320F28335 is designed, and stabilization control algorithm is implemented based on thehardware. The hardware improves the speed of operation of the complextrigonometric functions, and acquires two-axis position information through QEPfunction. The hardware is a real-time and highly integrated servo controller.Lastly, a dynamic tracking experiment for visual axis stabilization algorithm isconducted on the vehicle photoelectric tracking device. Recorded data shows thatunder the assumption maximum speed and maximum acceleration of vibration inroll direction is12.84o/s and90o/s2, maximum speed and maximum acceleration ofvibration in pitch direction is10.68o/s and112.8o/s2, the visual axis stability servocontrol system achieves a high accuracy of63″in azimuth axis,57″in pitch axis.
