| With the rapid development of the mobile communications industry, the mobile network coverage continues to expand and the number of mobile users keeps increasing. Improving the quality of mobile networks and the user experience of mobile network has become an important issue for mobile industry. This improvement, however, requires the use of mobile network optimization software which analysis the existing network and develop plans for mobile network optimization. This analyzing is based on large amount of drive test data and variety of different algorithms. Currently, systems designed specifically for mobile network optimization software to improve data storage and data query efficiency are not widely discussed.This thesis researched and designed a data container system specifically for the mobile network optimization software based on its characteristics of data accesses. Providing a scalable and unified storage model to efficiently support a variety of different mobile network optimization algorithm to adapt to a different data format, the data container system effectively improved the performance of the mobile network optimization software.The primary work of this effort include following:Analysis on both functional and performance requirements of data access in mobile network optimization software; research on technologies that implement a data container system; the design of data container based on column-oriented data storage and inverted index; implementation and testing of data container system. Proven by the testing, the data container system assists mobile network optimization software to achieve better performance and scalability. |
