Wireless sensor networks (WSNs) is a multi-disciplinary information acquisition and processing technology, which is based on modern sensor technology, micro-electromechanical systems, embedded computing, distributed information processing and network communication technology. Through the self-organization of short-range wireless communications, a large number of low-cost and low-power micro-sensors form a network system, which perceive, acquire and process the information of sensing object located on network coverage areas, and complete large-scale complex monitoring tasks in a collaborative manner. Although wireless sensor network technology has been developing rapidly, compared to the Internet, sensor networks are relatively independent which are difficult for normal user to obtain sensor data easily. Due to different architectures of the sensor networks, the networks services cannot be open to external networks in a uniform way.In order to solve the above problems, the architecture of service-oriented sensor networks is introduced, on the basis of the key technology of service-oriented architecture and wireless sensor networks. Universal service framework is designed to complete the structure of the sensor nodes. And a deeply research is given to key technologies of the architecture.Firstly, The General Service Description Language GSDL is used for defining, transferring, managing and using the services of wireless sensor networks. A distributed sensor service registry is designed to achieve the rapid discovery of services, timely updates and regionalization management. In order to solve service intermittent problem caused by the movement of node or battery depletion, the dynamic management of service state, adaptive service activation mechanism and node abnormalities management mechanism are introduced. This thesis also uses security encryption mechanism for the enhancement of the security and reliability the wireless sensor network.Based on CC2430chip, the universal service framework is completed on the senor node, and embedded ARM10development board is used for the design of sensor networks gateway. At last this thesis demonstrates detailed tests of key parts of the system to verify the feasibility of the proposal.
