The Research Of Receiver Algorithm For LTE Downlink Control And Traffic Channel

In order to further improve the rate of mobile data services, to adapt to the future needs of multimedia applications,3GPP organization has launched a research project based on Long Term Evolution (LTE). The breakthrough of the LTE physical layer transmission technique plays a key role in the LTE system. The research of receiver algorithm for LTE downlink control and traffic channel is the central issue among the LTE downlink transmission technology research.MIMO detection technology is the key technology of the LTE downlink traffic channel. In this paper, a mapping QR decomposition (MQRD) algorithm for MIMO detection is proposed. This algorithm significantly reduces the overall complexity by eliminating the square root and division operations in the traditional QR decomposition. The combination with list sphere decoding (LSD) scheme is re-derived to provide accurate soft information. Theoretical analysis and simulation results indicate that the proposed algorithm could significantly reduce the implementation complexity without increasing the system bit error rate. In addition, our derivation shows that linear interpolation-based QR decomposition is not feasible in practice as well.Control format indicator CFI information is important information of the LTE downlink control channel. The correct decoding of the CFI is very pivotal, which is the precondition of the successful decoding of the control channel information. The CFI detection algorithm with good performance is the technical hot issue. In this paper, a CFI detection algorithm based on group soft information is proposed. The algorithm could be able to make full use of the soft information, and have the ability to self-correcting. Simulation results and analysis indicate that the proposed algorithm has a good detection performance.
