Wireless optical communication is a new technology combined with wireless communication technology and optical communication technology, which does not pass through any type of medium but light as the carrier. According to high bandwidth capacity, simple structure, good secrecy and low radiation, wireless optical communication is one of several existing technologies to solve the "last mile" problem and the research has much advantage and important significance.Among them, UV communication based on the solar blind band and the visible light range wireless optical communication technology is the hot spot of the research in recent years. This paper mainly researches on the above two communication systems, and introduces LDPC channel coding in wireless optical communication system, which is good codes and has the good performance to approach Shannon limit and developed rapidly in recent years.Firstly, the paper describes the wireless optical communication technology, solar blind UV communication, and visible light wireless communication technology, and analyzes the advantages and development.Then paper separately designs two kinds of communication system based on solar blind UV communication and the visible light range wireless optical communication, designs a master technology for the optical wireless communication system mentioned above. And accomplished UV wireless voice communication field test, and analyzes the experimental results.Later, in order to further improve the performance of wireless optical communication system, selected channel coding decoding technology as a breakthrough point, begins with an overview of the development of the channel coding and given the coding requirements with good performance, and through analysis and comparison, select and focus on analysis the LDPC channel coding technology.In order to further improve the system performance, this paper analyzes the wireless optical communication channel coding demand, and through the analysis comparison chose LDPC channel coding technology.Followed by using the Matlab software, points module written LDPC channel coding communication system simulation program, and carries on the simulation test and its results analysis. This simulation experiments verify the good performance of the LDPC technology.Finally, summarized the whole paper and gave prospect.
