With the rapid popularization of intelligent terminals and mobile phone applications, the scale of WCDMA network is increasing rapidly. Due to the numerous wireless scenes, increasing service types, different service QoS, and user distribution changes, the traditional wireless environment classification methods using wireless signal propagation characteristics to establish a mathematical model cannot meet the network optimization needs. Therefore, in recent years, wireless environment classification and radio wave propagation prediction have become one of the hot research fields in mobile communications.Depending on the existing WCDMA networks, this paper researches the complexity of the wireless communication environment and raises a new method of classification and identification of the wireless environment which is based on normalized indicators for these multi-dimensional dynamic factors. In this issue, proposing a new classification method based on the wireless environment parameters and two normalized phenomenon indicators is part of my work. The method includes wireless hard environment and wireless soft environment. Research on the normalized indicators of qualitative and quantitative characterization to the wireless environment, by theoretical derivation, simulation design and data validation, is the other important part of my job. A relationship between the normalized indicators and wireless environmental factors is raised in theory. This paper uses the TOP3(Tools of Planning for3G) software to design the validation of the theoretical results. Meanwhile, in order to ensure the reliability of the indicators of the current network data, the article researches the comprehensive evaluation indicator system of the wireless environment. The data analysis raises methodology guidance for this study by cluster analysis on indicator data, which indicator the wireless soft environment.The results of the paper can be applied to the WCDMA network optimization. The purpose of the subject is to guide the network optimization work, by researching the phenomenon characterized indicators of wireless environment to the wireless environment.
