With the development of the Mobile Internet, the smart mobile devices has already taken the place of the traditional ones, which brings new security challenges at the same time. Android is one of the operation platforms for smart devices, which is more and more popular among the users. With the rapidly growth of the market share, the security problems of Android are focused on by the users. The stolen or tampering of the sensitive files will cause enormous loss to the users of Android.This thesis proposes an Android File Access Control System to recover the defects of Android native security mechanism, which achieves the goal of providing protection to the sensitive files on Android. The major studies are shown as below:1. The design of Android File Access Control System is put forward. According to the analysis and comparison of the different access control models, we choose and design the specific access control model for Android. Each module of the target system and the design of the strategy file are explained in details.2. We introduce the implementation analysis of Android File Access Control System. The data structures and the functions of each module are presented, the architecture of the Virtual File System is described. Meanwhile, we recommend the ways to communicate between the kernel and the user space. At last, the functions in the kernel called by the system call and their modifications are specified.
