By the technology of image enhancement, we can make the image to obtain better visual effect, and improve the human ability to identify visual information. At the same time, the image enhancement as a pre-processing technique, can make the processed image is more suitable for parameter estimation than the original image, image segmentation and object recognition and subsequent image analysis. Therefore, image enhancement technology research has been an important part of image processing. According to the demand of the development of the image enhancement technology, this paper studies the following aspects:The first digital of traditional image enhancement algorithms are introduced to study and simulation, and the effect of image processing gives a relatively objective evaluation, and discusses the appropriate application scenarios and the applicability and limitations.Subsequent research in the human visual characteristics, discusses the gray level of human visual perception in the resolution of nonlinear and on the structure and contrast sensitivity, and a simple model is established according to the characteristics, using the model and the determination of gray level through the experimental resolution.The human visual characteristics at the end of this article, put forward a better fit the image characteristics of human visual enhancement algorithm, through the gray intensity map and then converted back to gray way to complete the image to the image display remap grayscale, image enhancement, and verify the enhancement effect by experiment. A large number of test research shows, display the enhancement effect is obvious, with a certain application value.
