Scalable Video Coding(SVC).which is the scalable extension of H.264/AVC.can provide one single embedded bit-stream which several sub-bit-streams can be extracted.to meet the constrant of network bandwidth and the demands of time,space.quality to users.Although the SVC’s gradation characteristic itself has an extremely high error tolerance, due to the SVC bitstream during encoding full advantage of the interlayer, Therefore, the decoding side of a section of code out of the wrong will be very easy to affect the correct decoding of the subsequent frames as well as high-level frame, resulting in lower video quality. Therefore, the SVC in the error control technology has high research significance and practical value.This paper first introduce the SVC, Then made a detailed overview of the current SVC error resilience, error concealment and interactive error control technology. And were analyzed original experiment used software platform PLCMSvcCodec’s performance.The PLCMSvcCodec introduced by Polycom with its excellent codec characteristics of the SVC into the field of real-time communication. Greatly expanded the scope of the SVC,promote it’s development. In this paper, one for real-time video transmission keyframe-based Error Concealment is proposed based one PLCMSvcCodec.This method protect the SVC bitstream most improtant ket picture.and does not increase too much complexity. The video quality is significantly improved by the experimental method adds to the key picture.
