Smart home means that a smart home control system is set up based on the dwellinghouse platform which can supply a convinent life. Making use of data transmission, the devisecan control electrical equipment in the house. The whole system can be classified into twotypes: wired and wireless. People used to use the smart home which adopts cable line wiringway to check, control and communicate. However, the project employing cable wiring hasmany disadvantages, such as: complicated installation, high cost, the late inspection andprotection problems, etc. While in wireless technology, home intelligent control system can bewireless, and also can reduce the cost of installation, which makes the system betterextensibility, flexibility and comfort. From the above, wireless home intelligent controlsystem plays a vital role in the direction of future smart home development and study.The wireless home intelligent control system designed in this paper was formed based onGSM communication, radio frequency communication and family networks with wirelesssensor network technology, which can do family living environment monitoring,communicating and controlling. Wireless sensor network was used for networking mode inthis paper. Meanwhile, single chip MSP430F149was developed by TI company with lowpower consumption, GSM communication module EM310as well as low-power wirelesstransceiver chip nRF905which were chosen to design home intelligent control system, thischoice can reduce the cost and power consumption of the whole system, thus making it moresimple in operation and installation. Compared with the traditional home intelligent controlsystem, this system has a lot of advantages, mainly reflecting in low price, simple installationprocess, large applicable scope and better expansibility. All those advantages make residentialenvironment monitoring, remote operation and anti-theft function be realized. So, this specialsystem has high practical value.In this thesis, wireless home intelligent control system design can be divided into threemodules: master module, household anti-theft module and intelligent curtain module,including hardware and software design. In respectivity of hardware design, single chipselection, function of each main circuit, hardware principle diagram and design concept willbe completed. And in terms of software design part, each module function was analyzed indetail after the corresponding flowchart and programing code were finished.Finally, the system model was debugged in order to prove the rationality of the systemdesign, and the thesis summarized the shortage of the system design and pointed out someimprovement ideas aiming at preparing for further study of this subject.
