Along with the economic development and social progress of our country, the tall-intensive construction in the city appears constantly. People’s awareness of fire prevention is also enhanced. Especially in recent years, the frequent fires in high-rise buildings, and the fire protection requirements are also getting higher and higher. The traditional fire control system, while has reached a certain level both on structure and function, but applied to modern architecture gradually exposed poor display intuitive, regulatory delays and other shortcomings. How to improve it on the basic of the existing system, and design a more perfect fire evacuation system is an issue that currently needs to be urgently addressed.According to the above problems, and combining the latest development trend of fire protection system, this paper proposes the intelligent fire evacuation system. The upper computer with Visual Studio2005as development platform, using C#programming language and on the basic of geographic information system GIS to realize effective monitoring of the building, and it can position the location of the fire on the map precisely and automatically. The system establishes database by using Access to record the basic information of the devices and the layer, plan information, fault information and other data. While the industrial personal computer and controller via serial port to realize real-time communication, the master and slave via the TCP/IP protocol to complete information interaction. According to the collection of plan and fault information, it can control the underlying fire equipment linkage and formulate feasible directions, intuitive, real-time and rapid fire dispatch.This paper focuses on the composition, working principle and editing software of the system to introduce, and elaborates the specific design and implementation of each module in the editing software. Through the standard tools available based on MapX, this system mainly to study the secondary development of MapX on the platform of C#.NET and achieves the visualization of floors and devices operation, at the same time via ADO.NET database access technology and multi-threading technology to realize the database query and modify quickly. The implementation results show that the system operation is simple, intuitive, convenient and stable, with real-time monitoring of the situation in the building, and quickly adjusts lower machine action in the event of an emergency to guide people to escape.
