Special Effects Technology Research Of Digital Sandbox System

In the contemporary society, with the continuous development of science and technology, culture, people’s material and cultural life demand increase in all areas. Traditional sandbox is based on the actual scene or aviation image or topographic map. And then, using sand or other materials, it rebuilds everything in the real scene with a certain proportion. The scenes appear in front of people. However, with the development of people’s material and cultural needs, it can’t satisfy people who want to know about development of multiple features of things or field scene. As a result of that, the digital sandbox appears at the historic moment.Using advanced computer technology, digital sandbox is mainly on the basis of the existing traditional sand table, combined with the advanced optical imaging technology, adding vivid images,3d animation, and multimedia display functions and interactive function, so as to bring visitors to the grandeur of the dynamic visual effect and comprehensive display the target object.The study is mainly about the holographic imaging technology and digital sandbox available advanced emerging multimedia effects. Using holographic imaging technology can demonstrate digital sandbox. In the digital sandbox system, we use wireless data glove to control the content of the holographic image. In this way, the sandbox system can achieve the overall goal of showing different features of the sandbox. On the basis of discussing the sandbox system hardware and software structure, the thesis focuses on the holographic image generation and synthesis technology and proposes an approach based on joint action of multiple virtual cameras to generate hologram. Using the approach can quickly generate360-degree images of a model to produce three-dimensional display effects.Based on the holographic technology proposed in the thesis and related multimedia special effects display technology, using three-dimensional rendering engine OGRE, we build a digital sandbox system. The digital sandbox system has been successfully applied in a technology park.Digital sandbox system has broad application prospects in the future. It is achievements of the continuous development of human science and technology, culture, science and technology. This article, on the research of the digital sandbox system, aims to build a functional and can achieve the demonstration effect advanced digital sandbox system.
