With the development of computer network technology,applicationand popularization of it in people’s work,study and life,itmakes people deeply realize the great changes brought by moderninformation technology.The application of computer network technologyin the field of education makes the development of modern education to anew stage. Exam system reduce the teacher’s heavy workload and itmake the teacher free from the traditional exam mode--the examinationquestions, manual marking, and achievements statistics and analysis.The test system save resources and it improve the quality of the paper. Fromthe scientific nature, rationality, accuracy, fairness and objectivity,Examination system perfect the process of test.In the examinationsystem, intelligent test paper composition is very important. Papers hopeto be able to design a feasible set algorithm, and to apply it in the testsystembased on the research of the intelligent test paper. The paperfirstmade a brief introduction on the existing test paper genetationalgorithm. Then the development course and basic principle andcharacteristics of genetic algorithm is introduced in detail;The papersystematically analyzed the basic principles of the test paper generationimportant evaluation parameter of affecting the examination and therelationship between them.And according to the result of the analysis,the paper gives a set of constraints. In such conditions, the paperconstructed the objective function of the examination paper:the main parameters of the weighted sum. Then aiming at theshortcomings of the traditional genetic algorithm, we design a set ofalgorithm, the algorithm including the test paper generation strategy,chromosome encoding scheme, the selection of fitness function, the threebasic evolution operation and stopping criteria.The paper in detailintroduces the requirements analysis and design of the test system,through the structured analysis and object-oriented analysis method. Thepaper analyses the basic composition and function of examination system,through the use case diagram, flow chart and timing diagram. The testsystem can be divided into six functional modules: user management,question bank management, test paper management, examinationmanagement, marking management and performance management.Paperexpounds in detail each module’s function.Intuitively, the paperresearches the process flow and processing of data in the system throughdata flow diagram andhas carried on the design to the database.Paperadopts C/S system structure and it finally completed the examinationsystem design and implementation, through Powerbuilder and SQLServer database.
