| With the continuous development of software industry, there is an increasing scale of software products. Meanwhile, due to the introduction of modern software development technology, the quality of software is more and more difficult to be guaranteed. The invalidation of the software will bring losses to the users; therefore, people put more and more emphasis on the quality of software. In order to ensure the high quality of the software, the software testing technology which is generally divided into manual testing and automated testing has been rapidly developed. Nowadays, more and more automated testing technology has been widely applied to the projects of software development. Automated testing test technology can significantly improve the efficiency of the test, thus relieving the testers from the repetitive labor.Deep Discovery Inspector (abbreviation:DDI) developed by Trend Micro is a huge web-based enterprise network security management system; it provides enterprises with real-time network security monitoring and detects the various threats to the corporate network, thus ensuring the information security of enterprises. Therefore, aiming at the setting of DDI system and testing of the web interface, we have developed the auxiliary testing system-TestDDI based on the Selenium technology. TestDDI system can significantly improve test efficiency, reduce repetitive work in regression testing, and provide an accurate basis for testers to grasp the progress of the test.This paper first elaborates the theoretical background and research significance of software testing, conducts analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of manual testing and automated testing, and points out that the condition of introduction of automated testing. Then aiming at the characteristics of DDI system test, Selenium technology is wisely chosen, functional requirements for TestDDI system is analyzed, and TestDDI system is developed to meet the requirements. |
