Research On Network Information Consumption And Its Measuring Indicator

To measure network information consumption is to describe and to determine the consumers’use of information resources in the network. To establish a measuring system of networking information consumption level is to use a mathematical approach,combining the qualitative description and quantitative analysis, to solve complex social problems. It is necessary not only to rely on related knowledge to decompose the complex issues, but also to establish a scientific and reasonable indicator to obtain a more reliable composite index.The studies on the evaluation of the level of informatization have been fruitful, many scholars and research institutes have put forward different measurement indicator systems. But not all of them apply to network information.The studies on measuring indicators of network information consumption are still shallow. To solve these problems, this paper analyzed in-depth of network information consumption measurement based on extensive studies of traditional measurement indicator systems, then designed a measurement indicator system of network information consumption, and finally the use of an empirical analysis of the index system. This study, based on extensive research of the development of network information,analyzed Internet network infrastructure resources, the main consumer of network information, network information object of consumption and media. On this basis, consumption of network information is seen as an integrated complex whole which is composed of four parts: information network, consumer of network information, network information object of consumption, the information industry. Finally,Taking Jiangsu Province as an example, makd an empirical study on the index system to confirm the feasibility of the measurement index system.The study is conducted in high-speed development of the Internet, the state actively promote the backdrop of a high degree of integration of informatization and industrialization,aiming at building network information consumption level measurement indicator system included in consumer of network information, network information, consumer objects, information industry. Literature research, analytic hierarchy process, index method and empirical analysis method were used in the course of the study. This part are introduced in the first chapter.The second chapter, basic theory research of network information consumption. Firstly, academic results of the research in the area are summarized and integrated,as well as the current situation of the research in the field, to lay the foundation for the subsequent research. On this basis, this part distingushes the concept of network information consumption with people commonly used "consumption" and "the network consumption", as well as "informatization".Chapter Three,chinese network information consumption status research, according to the actual findings this chapter analyzed the present situation of china’s consumption of network information,including the status-quo of China’s Internet basic resources, object and subject of the consumption of network information, necessary equipment and tools. This chapter paves the way to lay a solid basis for the qualitative analysis of network information consumption in the following reaserch.Chapter Four, network information consumption measure and indicator system, this section is the main focus of this study. The beginning of this chapter is overview of research results of the measurement system in the field of informatization,this is to help building a network of information consumption measure and indicator system. Next, building a indicator must comply with the scientific, comprehensive, operability, unity and continuity of the principles, and then explained in detail the index system measure the various components of the system, the network information consumption index system is divided in four indicators:information networks; network information equipment;consumer; information industry, and to illustrate the relationship between the various components.And then a network information consumption measurement indicator system was build on this basis,composed with4secondary indicators,17three level indicators.Chapter Five is an empirical study of Jiangsu Province. this chapter is mainly empirical research on the measurement indicator system in Jiangsu Province. Jiangsu Province level of consumption of the2006-2010five-year network information measure. First of all, according to the established network consumption measurement indicator system to collect relevant data by dimensionless arithmetic mean method, the weighted average method of treating the resulting data and, ultimately, a comprehensive measure indicators. Composite Index on the level of consumption of Jiangsu Province Network Information horizontal, vertical multi-angle analysis, pointing out, Jiangsu Province, can be pushed further enhance the focal point of the level of consumption of the network information, as well as to verify the feasibility of the measurement indicator system.Chapter VI summarizes the main work done the research process, combing the research work process, and directions for future research, research center of gravity to make prospects.
