Most of the traditional back-draft collision avoidance system use single chip computercontrol, with the funtion of sound and lignt alarm, which is simple, low accuracy, poorhuman-computer interaction. This paper select S3C2440and linux system as the hardwareand software platform, making embedded technology, video capture and display technologiesand ultrasonic technologies together, to build visual reversing collision avoidance systembased on ARM. The research and design dieection of the system is an important developmenttrend of intelligent visualization of back-draft collision avoidance.In this paper, we first architect the hardware according to the system requirements, andthen analyz the feasibility of the implementation of the theoretics in the system. The systemregulates the OV9650camera video capture and ultrasonic ranging and make the integrationof these two sets of data displayed on the LCD screen and determine the ranging display andalarn according to the distance and alarm thresholds through S3C2440. The hardware andsoftware is designed according to the theoretical analysis and the demand of the system. In thehardware, this paper gives the hardware design and module interface circuits; in the software,the linux system and the driver of ov9650and LCD was transplanted in the paper and also theprogram of the video capture、the video character overlap technology and ultrasonic ranging isgiven out. Finally, the fuction of the system including ranging and video OSD display is testedand the the results are given in the paper.The experment results show that the capture video images of the system is clear andsmooth, the precision of ultrasonic ranging is high. The display effect meets the needs of theback-draft collision avoidance system, which is is low cost,low power consumption,easy touse, upgrade and expand and so on. It have great applied value and some market prospects....
