Because of diversity,hard purification,sophisticatedtechnique of product, chemistry industry material becomes a veryimportant part in Tar processing,which makes the quality and quantity ofit directly depends on degree of automation.The advanced chemistryindustry technique and control level would improve the productivity andproduct quality.The main purpose of this paper is to develop controlsysterm which has practical significance based on characteristics offractional melt crystallization technique of chemistry industry materialFluorene.Because there is no large scale production of purified Fluorene,toolittle cases can be used as references for Automation design and processcontrol.In the process of project design,the production process ofchemistry industry material naphthalene is used for reference.Theconstruction drawing design and compiling of routine of process controlsoftware is combined with field experiences.This paper introduces a method of sequence control by logicalcompiling of routine using DCS, and how to use the basic logic torealize complex batch control of intermittent Fluorene process units indetail。In this project,SUPCON DCS process control software is applied,complex sequence and PID continuous control is realized by batchhybrid control.According to the characteristics of fractional meltcrystallization, knowledge database is built up and the method ofoperation matix is applied. By means of data transferring of HMI, theproduction process control of chemistry industry Fluorene is realized.Based on the compiler environment of VBScript of HMIconfiguration software, the knowledge database of fractional meltcrystallization system is developed, in the mean time, datatransferring, data online/offline modification of knowledge database is realized, and the knowledge database can be adjusted according toproduct specification.According to the characteristics of continuous andintermittent process, ST and Function Block of DCS control softwareis combined to achieve Batch control.The result of practical production of this project has proven theaccuracy, stability and reality of system good.For improving the qualityand the production capacity of purified Fluorene, this research wouldoffer significant guides as well as application and reference value ofpractical project.
