Design And Implementation Of University Network Optimization

Network everywhere in the information age, the importance of the network for the development of universities without nothing to say. Colleges and universities more and more attention to the construction of information, but time and time again on network investment and expansion also appeared in a series of problems. How to solve these problems become an urgent demand of the university network managers.Most college network development so far have been several network expansion, the construction of the new campus network, wireless network, the construction of several large-scale expansion. With the rapid expansion of the campus network size, many problems have been arised. Such as:the age of the old and new equipment and the equipment of different manufacturers is difficult to integrate unified management, multi-campus dispersed around the formation of multiple isolated network. The network the user surge caused a bottleneck of network congestion, Network reliability is not high can not meet the needs of demanding and critical applications. These problems have some methods of solution, but it is difficult for most colleges and universities that one-time large-scale investment and transformation, the urgent need to design a set of the Universities practical, can be implemented step by step, the gradual transformation and optimization to solve these problems.In this paper, the analysis of network characteristics and status of colleges and universities, and to make full use of the existing resources of universities:three routing equipment, fiber optic lines between campuses, flow control and behavior management equipment, billing certified equipment, etc., the structure of the university network,device management, user management, traffic control and other aspects of the optimization and design of rehabilitation programs.Improvement programs could be a small amount of input and carry out stage by stage, after the completion of network reliability increases, reduce the network bottleneck exists, all equipment and user can realize unified management, greatly enhance the efficiency of management and maintenance.In this paper, take the the network status of Shenyang Industrial University as example, a common problem for most colleges and universities exist and rehabilitation programs were described in detail. Transformation optimization program has been partially implemented in the Shenyang Industrial University, the actual effect is remarkable.
