Motor is the key component of the luxury cars, as it drives window glasses ofcars to move.The temperature of motor would rise during it operates, especiallywhen the window glasses need to move up and down frequently or other factors thatmakes motor heat up quickly.As a result,the phenomenon that motor is burned due tohigh temperature always occurs. Therefore, it is necessary to monitor the temperatureof motor. This paper focuse on studying in monitoring temperature of motor.As motor plays a key role in making window glass move, designing a reliablesystem to monitor temperature of the motor has a crucial impact on performance, life,cost of the motor. With the development of computer technology, it is very popular inthe field of vehicle control, modern cars use electronic monitor technology based onsingle chip.It is a trend that traditional hardware monitor technology is graduallybeing replaced by electronic modules. Therefore, monitor technology based onelectronic control is the current research hot in vehicle monitor field.With design and implementation of algorithm that monitors temperature of motoras the research subject, this thesis has made completely study by simulation andexperiment,introduced and analyzed the algorithm required to accurately monitortemperature of motor based on the state of motor, terminal voltage, temperaturebefore the moment and other factors instead of temperature sensor.First, this thesis introduces the basis of motor temperature monitoring algorithmand its characteristic.Then, the motor thermal process under circulation intermittentwork condition is studied deeply in this thesis, the software based on thermal processis compiled by C language. Simulation and analysis of the temperature monitoringalgorithm that proposed in this paper and the function of software based on thermalprocess is made by using Matlab and Visual C++. At last,experimental platform isestablished to imitate the real system in laboratory, a dynamic simulation isimplemented to check the proposed algorithm, and the results of the experimentsshow that the algorithm can accurately monitor the motor temperature and be able toachieve the desired goal.
