Frequency selective surface, Referred to the FSS, also called spatial filter, was applied in the fields of military and civil applications very widely, the new frequency selection of the frequency response characteristics of the surface has been studied in this paper firstly, and then designed the Terahertz dual-band absorber based frequency selective surface. Firstly, Terahertz Technology Frequency selective surface basic theory、artificial electromagnetic medium Absorbing Principle frequency are summarized, and then using Ansoft HFSS software simulation, analysis of the traditional FSS structure such as pencil unit, cross unit, ring unit, Y-shaped unit of frequency selective surface arm length、arm width、dielectric layer、the dielectric constant of the incident angle of incidence and the incident wave polarization of the frequency selective surface filter performance. On the basis of the above, the artificial electromagnetic medium terahertz dual-band absorber based on frequency selective surface structure has been designed, the resonance frequency were1.5THz and3.0THz,form0°to45°range of the incidence angle, the absorption rate of the absorber can reach99%or more, when the incident angle is60°, the absorption rate was93%, whether the absorber in the TE polarization and TM polarization mode has a good stability.Finally, Given the improved and new terahertz dual-band absorber design method and the simulation results.
