Long Term Evolution is one of the major wireless communication technologies.It usesOrthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing and Multiple Input and Multiple Output technologiesin the physical layer. In the LTE system, the modulation and multiple access technologies whichbased on the OFDM are widely used, such as OFDMA&SC-FDMA, it guarantees the orthogonalityof channel within the cell, so the interference within the cell can almostly be ignorant. The hot issuecurrently is the research on the interference between cells and cells. In this thesis, ICIC is themainly discussed technology, Soft Frequency Reuse (SFR) and an ICIC scheme based on OverloadIndicator (OI) and High Interference Indicator (HII).Firstly, a new SFR scheme is proposed, which can distinguish between cell center users and celledge users efficiently and correctly. The UFR and SFR simulation results show that our SFRscheme has a good performance on the LTE system throughput.In LTE systems,3GPP decided using ICIC based on the OI and HII for uplink. But using HII orOI separately will have some inevitable shortcomings. An OI and HII hybrid ICIC scheme isproposed in this thesis, it fully uses the message interaction.The simulation results show us that thishybrid scheme can get a better system through and reduce the signaling overhead on the X2interface.
