Traditional material management system which uses the artificial handwritten notes, not onlyhas complicated process which likely leads to human losses, but also has high labor costs. With theexpanding of business scale, it promotes more and more complex product structure, and theindividual requirement of the entire market products is also increasing. Therefore, how toeffectively manage supplies system becomes a focused problem. RFID is a non-contact automaticidentification of communication technology. RFID continues to take its advantages to expand theapplication fields, and has been deeply integrated into the daily lives of persons as well as industrialhousehold and other industries. It has brought great influence to people’s lifestyle.This paper analyzes the actual needs of the material management system from many aspects,discusses the necessity and advantages of improved material management system, and thenproposes the technical points to realize the material management system based on RFID technology,eventually gives a reasonable design and realization of the process. The introduction of RFIDtechnology into the material management system has overcome many limitations of traditionalfunction. It not only eliminates human intervention in the tracking process, but also saves a lot ofmanpower and financial resources at the same time which greatly improves the work efficiency.Material management system combined with RFID technology can streamline the workflow andenhance the ability to process data, and help to adapt to the pace of development of the modernsocial information explosion. At the same time, raising the level of information visualizationextends the system’s performance and core competitiveness, greatly improves the operationalefficiency and effectiveness of the work of the material management.In the practical application of RFID technology, anti-collision problem is the key to improvethe efficiency of the system reads. The direction of tag anti-collision algorithm research mainlyincludes SDMA, FDMA, TDMA, and CDMA, one of the most widely used and convenient isTDMA. This paper proposes an Improved Dynamic Framed Slotted ALOHA (IDFSA) anti-collisionalgorithm based on the in-depth research of traditional anti-collision algorithm. Experimental resultsshow that: IDFSA algorithm greatly increases the slot utilization and read efficiency of the system.
