Electronic endoscopes as a non-destructive testing technology, has been widely used in more and more industries. In the rapid development of the process, how to solve issues such as cost, speed, processing effects and human-computer interaction becomes particularly important. Compared three existing electronic endoscopes image processing systems, this article proposed an electronic endoscopes image processing system with the core of ADI’s Blackfin BF547chip.This article researches on the selection of hardware, software design and image processing algorithms. On the aspect of Hardware, according to the design requirements, the system uses CCD camera as the image input device, BF547chip as the processor, DDR memory as the cache unit, FLASH as the storage unit and the touch screen as the human-computer interaction; as for the software, introduces and analyzes the development tools, image acquisition, image processing and image display module; as for the algorithms, adds conditional judgment in ultra-fast median filtering of image processing algorithms, and the three median filtering methods compared with MATLAB, introduces the common image enhancement algorithms, detection algorithm, piecewise linear gray transform and SOBEL detection algorithm and simulated them with MATLAB. The system debugging is given at the end of this article, and the experiments used the ADI DSP platform verify the correctness of the design of the program, and then analyzes and summarizes the results of the various debugging.
