Target tracking technology in wireless sensor network(WSN) has a widely application in industrial production, environmental monitoring and military field. The node scheduling of the wireless sensor network is very important for the whole system. The traditional scheduling method are LEACH routing protocols and SEP routing protocol, etc. These two methods is generally emphasized on energy equilibrium and ignored real-time and stability of the scheduling of the node. And it will lead to inconvenient to the Multiple target positioning, for example data redundancy, delay longer and so on. We proposed a algorithm based on these problems, which is called adaptive clustering algorithm based on target. According to the distance of the node to the selected target to clumps, with dynamic clustering, but relatively stable. Cluster members on the target measurement data are almost used to be located, data redundancy greatly reduced. In addition, we removed the principal computer platform from Windows to the real-time system Linux, making full use of Linux system itself of real-time task scheduling and multithreading real-time concurrency, and further improve the real-time and controllability of the whole network system. We used the GTK+to develop the interactive interface, and the interface is clear, and simple operation. Through the internet we can connect to remote monitoring station and realize the remote control.According to the experiment and the simulation, Linux platform based on the target of adaptive clustering can not only improve the real-time of the whole network system, but also the stability and the accuracy of target tracking. Negotiations between different clusters and regulation that is located in the same grid nodes not simultaneously ranging, effectively avoid the interference of the ranging of the nodes, and multiple targets channel plugging. Dynamic and self-organizing clustering also prolong the network life cycle, reduce the data redundancy, ensure that the whole of the wireless sensor network long time stable, effective for target localization. In the future development and application, the wireless sensor network node of real-time scheduling will play his potential maximum advantage. And the theoretical and experimental research will have certain theoretical value and practical significance to the real-time locating and tracking in the industrial, civil and military and the application of all.
