In recent years, the scale of China’s Internet is constantly expanding, making theInternet companies will face greater challenges. For large Internet companies, they canbe purchased through the capital of the advantages of better equipment, or increasethe manpower to research techniques. For small Internet companies, they need alower-cost solutions. For a web application, it needs more functionality, higher performance, greaterconcurrent. This makes a single server has been unable to adapt to the system. If use ofload balancing technology, you can create a cluster of servers, the advantages of thecluster to adapt to the system.Load balance technology used to improve the performance and stability of the webapplication is used widely both in large and small web application. Now IP load balancetechnology has been developed very mature for both business and small open sourcesolution. But current web application mostly scheduled according to the requestedcontent. Therefore content-based load balance technology can satisfy theirrequirements. This paper try to implement a HTTP requested content load balance technology inLinux kernel through deep study of this technology and Linux kerned. The main research content are as follows:1. Socket programming in Linux kernel.2. Network packet filtering and network packet processing Netfilter.3. Content-based scheduling and load balancing algorithm.
