With the "Chan”g e seires of satellites of our country launched, and followed themoon program, so the space-related research projects have been gained wide concern.In these space projects, astronaut extravehicular activity is a very important task. Asthe space programs are high-irsk, high-cost and dififcult, so in order to ensure thesafety of astronauts and complete the planning task, the simulation ofthree-dimensional visualization based on virtual reality is necessary before theimplementation of the project. It provides the operator a three-dimensional, vivid andinteractive robot simulation platform. In this platform, operator can solve the problemsabout the astronaut’s activities outboard and the robotic arm’s operation, and you can’verify th’e arms motion planning and control directives use of the scientists intelligent.This paper analyzed the interaction process of the space station flight in orbit,astronaut extravehicular activity and robotic arm operation, achieved a multi-objectmotion simulation, the motion simulation relfects the true motion state of the astronautand the arm. Firstly, through the OpenGL ifmction library and solidworks software, thepaper constituted the precise geometric model for the space station, astronauts and therobotic arm, then converted the geometric model into the date form which can beimported into the VC used of the Exploration sotfware, deal with the data in VC.Through the research of transformation of homogeneous equations, make the spacestation and astronaut completing some flight movements. Established the equations ofkinematic and solved its inverse equation, make the robotic arm completing vairety ofactions inside of the up room used of programs. At last, combined the kinematic modeland the geometric model developed the simulaiton system of the space station in orbitflight used of the OpenGL and VC in the environment of Windows, then achieved thereal-time simulation of space activities. This system has a strong interactive andreal-time and ’provides a veirfication platform for thespace program.
