In recent years, with the rapid development of automobile industry, people cannot lives without cars.However, because of the increase in the amount of car, cars brings the convenience, while also make the problem of traffic congestion more and more severe, even led to the loss of life and property. Technology services to people’s daily lives. The development of wireless networks makes people to think about the use of wireless technology to solve traffic problems. Today, vehicle ad hoc network research has become one of the hottest topics of domestic and foreign. In self-organized communication, vehicle ad hoc network reflects a greater advantage, such as ease the traffic situation, traffic early warning system and so on. In the city scene, because the traffic flow is heavy and there are so many obstacles, vehicle ad hoc network application is still large gaps and imperfections. How to make vehicle nodes more effective self-organized communication in the vehicle ad hoc network, better adapted to the city scene, keep communication smooth, refined and improved vehicle ad hoc network application in the city is our main study site.This paper mainly deals the problem of how to make the communication effectively, and guarantee nodes to communicate properly in the city scene.The main two issues in city scene communication:the communication hole problem arising from the free movement of vehicle nodes and the construction of road; vehicle nodes cannot normal communicates caused by obstructions in city scene.First, this article analyses the main solution of the communication hole problem, study rounds the problem of the communication hole in the GPSR routing protocol., On the basis of the GPSR routing protocol proposed a intermediate forwarding node selection algorithm with information feedback based on maximum angle, making the data packet to the destination node bypassing the communication hole, achieve communication security. The algorithm can solve the communication holes problem in the city scene effectively, with a low average number of hops, has a good adaptability at changes in the size of the hole and so on.Second, through the analysis of obstacles between the nodes, we model of obstacles and analysis the degree of obstacles impeding the signal. Select whether as a forwarding node by the degree of signal obstruction from barrier. On the basis of that, with GPSR routing protocol, we propose a routing protocol forwarding strategy based on barriers. In order to solve the issue there are more obstacles in the city scene, as the barrier between the nodes to determine whether one of the factors the normal communication. This method can truly reflect the actual situation of the city, and more reasonable choice of forwarding node, can reflect better network performance, make it more responsive to the city scene.Through the above study, the improved protocol simulated in real scenarios, can use it to improve its traffic jams and so on effectively, the wireless network resource utilization is higher.
