It was a consensus that Virtualization Technology can reduce TCO(Total Cost ofOwnership) for IT equipments, cut carbon emissions, structure green computing mode,but how to apply the Virtualization Technology to high school is always a hot point. Inthis paper, transforming the constructing way on the basis of the previous works,reduces energy consuming, CO for IT equipments, promotes resource efficiency ofuniversity laboratory, maintainability and manageability, so, the essential purpose ofthis subject is to solve the problems that are maintainability and manageability,constantly updating of computer hardware and software, deployment of software orhardware, energy consuming, ability of allocating resource and so on.This subject originated in the project of ‘Virtualization Multimedia Classroomfor University’,but some problems were found during the implementation andcommissioning of this project, including low resource efficiency, high energyconsuming, unsuitable ability of allocating resource etc.. For all those reasons, bystudying of virtualization technology, desktop virtualization, Time Tabling Problemsand so on, this paper, according to the determined goal, analyzes the weaknesses oftraditional university laboratory, the advancements of Virtualization Technology,presents a platform basing on calculating resource pool in order to offer virtualizationuniversity laboratory services for students. Thus, design the model of calculatingresource pool, and structure the platform basing on this model for offeringvirtualization university laboratory services. Focus on the feasibility of calculatingresource pool model, the availability of virtualization university laboratory services,this paper analysis above feasibility and availability from several points of view:carbon emissions, TCO, running performance, maintainability and manageability,finally validates feasibility of model, availability of service. On the basis of abovestudy, this paper emphasisly discusses the problem of resource optimization, first,finds out the influence principal factors, direction of optimize using statistical analysisof utilization and efficiency, more, set binding conditions, objective function. Second, based on the binding conditions and objective function, builds mathematicalmodels for resource optimization and its existence of a solution was proved, Later,designs genetic algorithm to search the optimal solution in the space of data sample,finally, make the comparison of computation results before and after optimization,these findings show that the model is effective and optimizing effect is quite well.Ultimately, puts foregoing paper conclusion into a real system, certifies itseffective, including deploying platform, designing and implementing the managementsystem of calculating resource pool, importing data stylebook and detectingperformance of system,next, analyzes and researches the result, comes to aconclusion that the model of calculating resource pool is feasible, mathematicalmodels for resource optimization is effective and this platform can provide perfectvirtualization university laboratory service for university on a smaller scale, in oneword, the results of study achieve the anticipative research target.
