| Data security is the most important for the online banking information system.The important data is processed by data encryption and then stored in the database ofonline banking, while the data are stored in plaintext if the data is downloaded to thelocal from the online banking by users, so the online banking data faces serioussecurity problems, for instance, the third party unauthorized access, Trojan horse fromthe network attack etc.This paper proposes the solution to the automatic encryption method for thedownload data from the online banking data. Supervise the data download process byusing the extension COM in the IE and BHO technology, and at the same time thispaper adopts data encrypt technique of Microsoft CryptoAPI service. The data streamof online banking is encrypted directly by the encryption components during theprocess of transmission and then the cipher text is stored on disk (including the cachedata of the IE temporary folder). The user can use the decryption tool to viewencrypted files stored in the local computer if the correct encryption password isprovided, you can view the original data file of the online banking information, andthe decrypting and viewing will be done in the memory, temporary plaintext files willnot produced during this period. The illegal users and the illegal operations can’t getthe original online banking user data. Thus, the user’s local data is protected.The merits of the solution proposed in the paper are obvious. It need not changethe operation habits of users and affect the existing online banking system. Thisimplies that the data encryption process is transparent to the user. File safe or othersecurity software need not to be installed in the local system. The encrypted files can be copied, backed up and filing management between computers. This method is alightweight solution for the data security file. It solves the security problem of user’slocal data in the online banking by using a simple and effective method. |
