Design And Implementation Of The Family Financial Management System

With the continuous improvement of the economy level, family financing managementbecomes more difficult because household income and expenditure are increasinglycomplex.Therefore, the family financial management system is designed in this paper. Thissystem which is based on financial management need of users, provides unified managementfor family financing and help users to make reasonable financial decisions to solve familyfinancial problems.The system includes the following function modules: family book management, familymembers management, household income and expenditure management, report management.Family book management offers several functions including adding or deleting, modifying,and viewing the books. Family members management includes adding, viewing, deleting andmodifying the information of family members. In household income and expendituremanagement part, the functions of adding income items and expenditure items, viewing,deleteing, and modifying income and expenditure information are provided. By using thereport to explain the relationship among income, expenditure and balance, the family canmake arrangements for their income and expenditure more easily.The system provides information maintenance function for each module. In addition, afirst time registration is needed when using the system which has confidentiality proceduresto protect user informations.Users can use functions according to their needs after logging.The system uses the object-oriented design ideas.The structure uses B/S structure andASP.NET is used with Visual Studio2008. The Database is SQL Server2008.By using this system, users get much convenience, for example, to add each familymember into the system to add, modified, and delete their message, to record each member’sincome and expenditures, to gain the statements of revenue and expenditure of the familyproperty statistical information as well as detailed information. In a word, all family memberscan know their revenues and expenses and the books of the balance of payments situationtimely and comprehensively. The family financial management system has friendly interface which is easy to use.Theusers can use it to facilitate management of their family property and control the family’sfinancial situation completely. The system which provide the corresponding data informationfor family financial decisions, has a certain applied value.
