This article is based on the "freescale" Cup National University intelligentvehicle tournament as the background, the design of intelligent car system.Thedesign of intelligent car system for photoelectric group contest, camera andmagnetic navigation in three groups, the smart car belongs to the cameragroup, the CCD camera to track information collection and extraction fromracing driving path. This paper is designed to find accurate informationacquisition circuit, driving path, so that the driving direction and speedclosed-loop control, and can arrive the destination of the intelligent vehicle inthe shortest time.Based on the rapid development the modern information society,intelligent has become an essential demand; intelligent vehicle is thedevelopment trend henceforth in the automobile industry.A complete racing including the mechanical structure, the parts ofhardware and software. The mechanical structure is racing to drive thefundamental, racing to have certain mechanical structure, combined with thecorresponding hardware and software, constitute a complete system.This paper uses the camera design, hardware parts of the system consistsof6modules, the16bit microprocessor MC9S12XS128as the core controlmodule, the image acquisition module and the speed sensor module as thesteering control and speed control and feedback signal, to form a closed loopsystem; power management module to provide5V,12V stable voltage theother module; road image acquisition module through a CCD camera capturecircuit information, and accurately judge the racing line position; steering gearsteering module adjusts the steering angle, make the car of timely andaccurate steering; speed sensor module calculates the racing current speedsize; motor drive module use PWM wave control motor drive chip, in turndriving motor.The main content of this research is the track identification, path planning and control of intelligent vehicle. Intelligent vehicle track recognition is veryimportant, and the reflection of smart car, and intelligent vehicle control based,for intelligent vehicle path planning and control strategy is all based on trackrecognition. Track recognition includes: data collection, thresholdsegmentation, the track circuit information extraction and track typerecognition.Path planning is divided into two kinds: one is in view of the aboveidentified the track path planning, another is in view of the above didn’trecognize the track path planning. Because the track is varied, and in the sametrack intelligent vehicle will get different track information, and recognizing thedifferent tracks or track is not identified, only gives the correct path planning, inorder to give accurate steering gear and motor control, intelligent vehicle canbe at a high speed to travel the entire track.Know the track types and gives the travel path, can be carried on a vehiclecontrol, smart car makes rapid and stable running, generally the vehicle controlcan be divided into control of longitudinal and lateral control. Longitudinalcontrol is the speed of the vehicle or the acceleration control, the main is a fastrequirements; lateral control is based on vehicle steering mechanism control,so that the vehicle can be maintained in a certain vehicle lane, the main is thecontrol precision requirements.
