At present a large number of diagnostic X-ray images are still consumed using intensifying screen and film, and can not be used in the PACS. Therefore, turning conventional X-ray image or information on film into the digital makes sense, its medical image information management to achieve the modernization and practical significance.Digital X-ray imaging system refers to the X-ray transmission images to digitize and make image processing, and then converted into an analog image shows X-ray equipment. For digital X-ray imaging system, image quality assessment, we have to look at the image quality, but also taking into account the other hand, the image acquisition conditions (radiation condition), simply on the image itself, dynamic range, spatial and contrast resolution, noise and modulation transfer function were measured. they are indicators of imaging system, and these indicators also subject to a number of other hardware and post-treatment factors, each of these evaluation indicators are one-sided and can not complete the entire imaging system imaging performance evaluation.Quantum Detective Efficiency (DQE) measurement methodology based on the international standard IEC62220-1is being regarded as an objective performance evaluation metric for the digital X-ray graphic system. However, the fast becoming popular mammographic systems aren’t applied to the IEC62220-1standard because the factors affecting measurement are more complicated. In this paper, the DQE measurement methodology for Digital Mammographic System and the corresponding standard IEC62220-1-2was investigated. Further, this measurement method was used for testing the DQE of the digital mammographic system. The DQE value was obtained and the factors affect measurement was discussed in detail.
