Research On The Wireless Mesh Networks Based On Multi-channel And Multi-interface

The research of wireless Mesh network become more and more popular.and themuti-channel muti-interface mechanism plays an important role in the field of Meshnetwork。The MAC and Route protocol have higher research value which is the mostdifficult problem. Now existed MAC protocols had much disadvantage,can’t developits’ own advantage to the capacity.Now,the wireless Mesh network with Multi-channeland multi-interface is the most important mechanism reseached.this mechanism havehigher throughput and lower delay for the increasing market.IEEE802.11standarddefine multiple channels which are not overlaped.but the wireless Mesh network oftenwork in single-channel,it didn’t take full use of the spectrum.In order to satisfy the higher throughput demand,we take the MCMI mechanism.itcan sovle the overload problem in hotspot field and the problem of hidden terminals.thismechanism use random channel allocation. Channel conflict was avoid effective, iprovethe throughput and satisfy increasing demand.We simulated the modified MCMIwireless Mesh network with NS-2, the simulation have good result in throughput anddelay.
