The performance of the measuring antenna, an important part of thehigh-precision satellite navigation receiver, is directly related to the accuracy of thesatellite navigation receiver. Based on this background, the paper focuses on theimprovement of measuring antenna phase center stability performance.In this paper, multiple spiral slots antenna ensures high stability of the antenna phasecenter through the axis of symmetry of the spiral slots. And then various performanceindicators have been improved through different feed mode. The following aspects ofthe main work:1. Several antennas which can achieve high stability of the phase center areenumerated and discussed in this paper. Then the multi-arm spiral slotsantenna with mature "pinwheel" technology is selected to be designed. Thispaper also analyzes the radiation mechanism of the spiral antenna and phasecenter stability.2. Combining satellite navigation antenna, four-arm spiral slots antenna fed byserial wave microstrip circuit is designed. By using the simulation softwareAnsoft HFSS simulation optimization. The antenna is fabricated andmeasured. The results show that the antenna gain ideal gain and axial ratio.3. In order to improve the antenna phase center stability. On the one hand, formof the antennas is improved. Using the eight-arm spiral slot instead of thefour-arm spiral slot, and the results show that the antenna phase center, gain,and axial ratio are improved. On the other hand, the antenna feed forms areimproved. Since the serial traveling wave microstrip feed line cannot ensurethat the coupling excitation to each spiral slot-arm is of equal amplitude,which can decrease the performance of the antenna. On this basis, anotherfour-arm parallel fed spiral slot antenna is designed to improve theperformance of the antenna. A feed network, one in four amplitude followedby a difference of90°in phase, is designed to coupled excite the our-armof the antenna. The antenna is fabricated and measured. The results show thatthe antenna gain ideal gain and axial ratio.
