The research work with scientific project in this thesis is that,the wideband feedfor the reflector antenna used in solar-radio-telescope system and engineeringprototype of a microstrip array conformal to conical surface. Briefly introduction isgiven at the beginning of thesis.The major work done can be briefly categorized into two parts:Firsetly, the solar-radio-telescope system and microstrip conformal array isintroduced. To realize the properties of the feed a scheme that combing a new typewideband due log-periodoc antenna and the wideband3dB orthogonal bridge ispresented according to the requirement.The principle and design method of thelog-periodoc antenna and the wideband3dB orthogonal bridge are discussed,and boththe log-periodoc antenna and the wideband3dB orthogonal bridge operating during2GHz-15GHz are designed. The software Ansoft HFSS is used to simulate theantenna and CST is to simulate the3dB orthogonal bridge seprately.The simulateresults indicate that both the log-periodoc antenna and the3dB orthogonal bridgepresent good properties during the whole frequency range (2GHz~15GHz), and canmeet the engineering requirements well.Then, we use the software Ansoft HFSS to simulate the microstrip conformalarray,then the prototype of the antenna and bridge are fabricated based on thesimulated results. The test results indicate that the the microstrip conformal arraypresent good properties during the frequency, and can meet the engineeringrequirements well.
