Design And Implementation Of Quality Course Network Platform

Recently, educators is paying more and more attention of Quality CourseConstruction，which is an important part of "quality engineering"，and widely applied toeducation. It is the important part of university teaching quality and education reformproject. One important part of the Quality Course Construction is realized onlineTeaching. So it requires building network-based teaching environment. The Web-basedcourse platform been developed was based of course, a website for each course, lackedversatility and scalability.According to the actual teaching of Yan’an University, Computer Science College,we designed and implemented a Quality Course Network Platform of B/S structure tomeet the actual needs of the college. In order to resolve questions that past QualityCourse Website interactive bad, too much re-construction, hard to maintenance, wedevelop a dynamic Quality Course Network Platform system accordance the idea ofsoftware engineering, with the JSP technology, Servlet, Struts Frame and relativetechnologies. This platform have some advantages such as easy to maintain and manage,realistic, teachers and students could communicate convenient and so on. And make adetailed analysis to this system’s needs analysis, modular architecture and relatedtechnology. The main work of thesis is as follows.First, on the basis of the status of the development of quality courses at home andabroad website, according to the actual situation, the thesis made a completely analyzeto the system requirements analysis and software design. Second, the thesis finished thesystem function module division and database design. And use the techniques andmethods of the JSP technology, Servlet, Struts framework to achieve the systemfunctionality. Finally, completed the system functionality and performance testing,ensure that the design of the system achieve the expected results.This system is convenient for teachers to create personalized Web-based course,for students learning and self-management, for administrators protecting system, forteachers updating teaching content, and for user’s expanding functions.
