The MIMO system in wireless communication refers to those wirelesstelecommunication systems which deploy multi antennas both in transmit terminals andreceive terminals. Potential huge channel capacity and stability of MIMO systems haveattracted many researchers in telecommunication domain. In order to obtain a bettercapacity in real application, precoding techniques have become a research hot spot.With full knowledge of channel, the transmit terminals process the original signalsaccording to precoding algorithms, in order to achieve theoretical channel capacity.This paper, Firstly, introduces theoretical knowledge on MIMO telecommunicationsystems. Secondly, it introduces the precoding techniques including linear precodingtechniques and nonlinear precoding techniques in MIMO telecommunication systems.Linear precoding techniques are easily implemented but have bad performance.Nonlinear precoding techniques have good performance but comparative highcomplexity. Then the paper introduces Lattice-Reduction-Aided precoding techniques.Aided by Lattice Reduction, both linear precoding techniques and nonlinear precodingtechniques overcome their defects. Finally, based on LLL Lattice Reduction algorithm,this paper proposed a method on choosing the factorδof LLL Lattice Reduction. Thismethod optimizes the LLL Lattice Reduction and the conclusion is proved throughMATLAB computer simulation.
