With the increasing demand of wireless communication service, the technology ofwireless communication is developing towards high transmission rate and widebandwidth. The short-range transmission technology over60GHz wireless networks hashigh transmission rate, wide channel bandwidth and good anti-noise ability, which canmeet the new requirements in wireless communication transmission, and it makestransmission of multimedia services in uncompressed mode possible. There are a largenumber of redundant information in HD video and image,how to make good use of theredundant information to improve the transmission quality of communication systemhas become a problem which worth studying.The main works are summarized as follows:1. Firstly, based on the principle of diversity combining, the thought of iterativedecoding and the feature of decoding performance interaction among the codes, the typeA and B combining decoding structures are proposed. Secondly, the two designedstructures are analyzed and simulated by computer. The simulation results show that thetwo combining decode structures can both improve the decoding performance of thedata packets containing same information. And the type B combining decodingstructure can improve the performance of packets with not only same information butalso different information.2. Firstly, based on type A combining decode structure, an uncompressed HDimage combining decode transmission system is proposed. Secondly, a modified systemis designed, in which the cooperation of sender is taken into consideration. Thesimulation results show that the designed combining decode transmission system canimprove the transmission quality of HD image with high similarity among the adjacentpixels, and the modified system influence image quality in sender, but it can improvethe transmission performance more efficiently.
