With the extensive application of the network technology in the education realm, the traditional method of examination faces an important change. To test with the network is an advanced method, which has a lot of advantages in which the traditional examination doesn’t have. It can save a great deal of manpower and material resource, improve the efficiency and quality of the examination.The existing network testing system has different degrees of defects and deficiencies. For example:Questions in a single; complex usage; poor reusability, poor maintainability, poor scalability and so on. To solve these problems, we design a successful programming testing system based on the modeling language UML. The system can automatically use the manual and machine graders. Users can submit their own problem-solving code online, then our system can automatically compile and run it remotely using RMI technology on the JAVA platform., and give the results of problem, and finally give the scores according to the number of candidates and the use of problem solving. After the system is used, we find that this system basically meets the development objectives originally proposed, but also makes a lot of future issues, such as the system can be applied to extra-curricular addition to examinations to practice and the system can not only improve the quality of teaching, students self-learning can also be capacity. This system provides the function of the part of teachers instead of manual labor. saving teachers’time and improve the efficiency of graders.
