Software reuse refers to the reuse of existing software products to develop a newsoftware system for the purpose of improving the quality and efficiency of softwaredevelopment, reducing development costs. Component technology is one of the mostimportant technologies of software reuse. The constant development of componenttechnology has brought new methods for software development. Dozens of studies havebeen advanced on this technology by academic circles and industrial world.In this paper, we implement a modeling tool for aerospace control area based onsoftware development via visual modeling platform. This tool is developed mainly byJava, run as a plugin-in of Eclipse. It provides users with multi-level modeling, modelvalidation, model simulation, code generation, documentation generation, demandtracking and other functions, committed to use component library management systemto manage exiting components, support the reuse of components while modeling toimprove the efficiency and reuse rate of aerospace control software development.Experiments show that this Component Library Management System canefficiently support component reuse, which greatly simplifies the modeling process andaccelerate the speed of software development. In addition, this tool has good scalability,portability, maintainability, and greatly improves the efficiency of modeling, so it can beused on large-scale modeling platform.
