With the development of technology in database and network, distributed system isgaining more and more attention from people. System in financial area is also calleddistributed system, which also deals with distributed transactions. These transactionshave not only the features of general distributed transactions, but also their ownparticularities. This paper presents a thoroughly study of the problem of commitprotocol and deadlock detection in distributed transactions of financial area.Present distributed transaction commit protocol is analyzed in chapter three. Basedon2PC, and combined with the type of financial area transactions, a financial areaoriented commit protocol of distributed transactions is proposed. This commit protocolperfectly satisfies various transactions in the area of finance. Message traffic of commitprotocol is reduced and the problem of blocking in2PC is solved.Existing probe detection algorithm is analyzed in chapter four. Combined with thespecific characteristics of transactions in financial area, a financial area orienteddeadlock detection algorithm PP-Probe is proposed. Through defining a new kind ofprobe, probe is able to carry more message to solve the problem of externaldependencies in deadlock. Through defining new transaction data structures, prioritycomparison of transactions is made more reasonable. Deadlock detection and recoveryalgorithm is proposed based on a newly defined rule of probe transmission. Finally, the transaction commit protocol and deadlock detection algorithmpresented by this paper are tested by experimentation.
