A met hod of software design of Reactor Protection System (RPS) is researched,using the Safety-Critical Application Development Envi-ronment (SCADE) to designthe embedded software for RPS.According to the embedded software designing flow of SCADE. In softwarerequirements phase, technology requirements, logic process modules requirements andprotection software requirements are all included. In software design phase, logicprocess modules design and protection software design are all included. In softwaredevelopment phase, logic process modules development and protection softwaredevelopment are all included, automatically generates Safety-Critical embedded code.In the SCADE, the logic processes modules have been complete the MC/DC coverageanalysis and safety verification was put forward.Therefore, it is concluded that SCADE actualizes the automation of softwaredevelopment in a highly way, saving the cost and time, and having a safety-criticalproperty.
